In a connected, dynamic, evolving and competitive world, qualifications are essential for success in the professional world.
They range from traditional university degrees to online microcredentials, each offering advantages to suit individual needs. University degrees remain fundamental, while certificates and microcredentials are gaining in popularity.
Professional certifications complete this diversity, enabling individuals to choose the path best suited to their professional goals.
At E-newcademy, we work with establishments offering training recognized in their countries, particularly for degree courses.
We are keen to ensure that our trainees join recognized training programs to guarantee their professional future.
A degree is a certificate of specific skills and knowledge. It can be academic or professional, varying in level and duration. University degrees (bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate) are generally longer and more in-depth. Professional degrees (diploma) aim at practical skills for immediate employment. Understanding these distinctions is crucial to choosing the right path for your ambitions.
Degrees are major academic qualifications. The Bachelor’s degree (3-4 years) is the first level, followed by the Master’s degree (1-2 more years), then the Doctoral degree (3-5 years), the highest academic level. Each level has its own admission requirements. These degrees offer in-depth knowledge and specialized skills, and open up a wide range of professional opportunities in a given sector.
2-year diplomas after high school (BTS, DUT, HND, Advanced diploma, AS, etc.) are also included.
Diplomas, offered by recognized vocational schools, focus on practical skills for the job market. They are often shorter than degrees and aim for immediate employability. These industry-recognized qualifications can include additional certifications. They offer rapid entry to the job market and are increasingly accessible via e-learning.
Professional certificates attest to specific skills in various fields. Shorter and more specialized than traditional diplomas, they are offered by various institutions, often via e-learning. They enhance career prospects, can lead to salary increases and serve as a springboard to more advanced diplomas.
Microcredentials are targeted, flexible and mainly online qualifications. They enable the rapid acquisition of specific skills, can be integrated into broader career paths and are increasingly recognized by employers. Their modular format means they can be adapted to the changing needs of the job market.
MOOCs are free online courses open to all. They offer flexible, high-quality education on a variety of subjects, and are offered by E-newcademy (and may be offered by our partners). They can lead to paid or free certificates, contributing to professional development and reducing global educational disparities.

University accreditation and state recognition are essential for the validity of degree courses. They guarantee the quality and relevance of study programs. Accreditations, granted by independent bodies, assess curricula according to strict criteria. State recognition, on the other hand, confers official legitimacy on diplomas. This dual system assures students that their training meets both academic and professional standards. For employers, these validations are a guarantee of the reliability of the skills acquired. Accreditations and recognitions thus play a crucial role in enhancing the value of diplomas on the job market and in the pursuit of higher education.
At E-newcademy, we work with schools that provide training that is at least recognized in their countries, as well as with establishments that offer high-quality, accredited and recognized training.
