-Microcredential (Micro-credit): these are specialized certifications, often flexible and focused on specific skills and subjects.
Their completion gives rise to university credits offered by the establishment in order to be able to pursue diploma courses according to the policy of the school and the country's Ministry of Education.

-Diploma: these are longer and broader programs that span several months or several years, the program covers many subjects on the theme of the program.

This particularly concerns academic courses (degree) and professional courses (diploma/RNCP title).
